Last month I had the pleasure of trialing the Flexees Firm Control Waistshaper and Thigh Slimmer. I wanted to write this article to tell you how things went. First a little about me. I am a queen sized diva and I am also short. Most of my clothes tend to run long and I need to make adjustments. The Flexees came underneath my bra and to my surprise, it provided extra support and lift to my bra. I wear a size 44 DD so this was a welcome side benefit.

My problem areas are my derriere, waist and stomach. I wanted to wear a nice brown and cream plaid skirt I purchased to church but my stomach was showing through my skirt….you know how you get that visible outline and I was not pleased with that look. My plan was to wear the skirt anyway and just take one of my long button down cardigans and wear it over the outfit. Well after putting on the Flexees my stomach was completely flat and my waist came in considerably. This model has boning that runs on the inside and does a great job of whittling down the waistline. I really liked the look I got with this one. It actually looked like I had lost some weight. I am also on Weight Watchers right now so that just bolstered my resolve to continue with my quest for changing my eating lifestyle so I can look this way without shapewear. Every little bit of encouragement helps and this was a great shot in my arm.

The quality of the Flexees was top notch. I soaked and hand washed my shapewear and let it drip dry on my shower rod and it came out like new. No stitch pulling or wear so far has been seen. This model also has a cotton crotch that opens as well, keeping things cool and comfortable I recommend this style personally. The only thing I may say is a con to the product is that if you wear the shapewear for a prolonged period of time.. say over 5 to 6 hours.. you may find the boning may rub a bit under the bra… but I believe this is because of the way my body is personally made. Remember I am top heavy and the shapewear came up underneath my bra.
